Grades 2-4 Like the original eight volumes in the Unofficial Guides Junior series (12 new titles), the four books in this set introduce Minecraft and its offshoots. Each volume, apart from its front matter and back matter, includes only nine double-page spreads of content. A typical spread includes a paragraph of large-print, wide-spaced text on one page, facing a full-page picture. The illustrations, which are uneven in quality, include screenshots from games and/or photos of people. In MMORPGS in Minecraft, readers will learn about playing massively multiplayer online role-playing games in Minecraft. Gregory advises readers to check with an adult before going online, and not to share personal information when chatting with other players. For young players, these books offer glimpses of the ever-enlarging world of Minecraft experiences.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2019, American Library Association.)
